VIEW CURRENT NEWSLETTER Welcome to the twenty-first issue of The Lens, a tri-annual e-newsletter/journal published by the Center for Empowered Leadership. In each issue of The Lens we feature one of the spiritual principles of wise leadership. For this issue our focus is on the Principle of Balancing Head and Heart The mission of CFEL is to empower wise leadership throughout the world through the expression of universal spiritual principles. The partners and associates of the center will be writing short articles dealing with empowerment, wise leadership, appreciative inquiry, and the spiritual principles of leadership. We hope you will find them useful and enlightening, perhaps even inspiring. Our aim is to help people become more effective leaders. The principles we write about have important implications both for your style of leadership and how you choose to live your life. We invite your feedback and Letters to the Editor, which we can share in future editions. We also invite you to submit articles and stories for publication. Feel free to forward The Lens to friends and colleagues. As you read the various contributions—all by CFEL founders and associates—you’ll see that each brief article presents a unique perspective on some aspect of empowerment and spirituality. The specific topics we address will change with each issue, but the overall focus will be constant: helping you become a more empowered leader through the expression and internalization of spiritual principles. We are here to help you along your spiritual path, and we’re grateful for the opportunity to learn and grow with you. Know, too, that we’d be delighted to hear from you. Help us learn what to address in The Lens that would be of greatest assistance to you.
